What are our Alumni doing?

26 years of career data (1995–2021) from our LinkedIn Alumni has revealed a clear shift in academic and professional pathways.

Across 280 roles, around 70% have remained academic, but careers are increasingly blending research with leadership, entrepreneurship, policy, and creative work. Earlier decades reflect traditional academia; from 2010 onwards, there has been a diversification into sustainability, climate, health, AI, data science, and hybrid academic–industry roles—showing how careers have become more interdisciplinary, applied, and socially engaged.
